I have skattered the same component on a horizontal and vertical (random-(UV)Wrap Type) surface in the same SU file.
Vray does not show components on a vertical group.
Did you properly clicked on “(re)Generate”?
Yes I did.
It happens in various models/file case.
Could you send me a file where this happens?
Of course I could. If only I have an email to send it to.

Concerning the Vray incomplete rendering - the model was rendered correctly before I had made some skater adjustments. See my post with a description.

Regarding your other issue. I understand that it doesn’t happen without the Skatter setups. But I think in this case, the large amount of objects generated by Skatter could be the trigger of a bug in Vray.
