Add textures to .fbx import

Here’s a link to a folder with the .fbx

Can someone help me with the method to add the textures to the model?

Thanks.

Sorry I cannot find the right topic in the forum

Hello, the names of the material files do not always correspond with those of Transmutr, could you link the correct files A-B-etc corresponding to the numbers 1-2-3 etc.
Some of them are obvious like bump but not all

1-DiffuseMap.jp
2-MaskMap.jpg
3-NormalsMap.png
4-SpecularMap.jpg
5-BumpMap.jpg
6-Diff.png

A-Color / diffuse
B-bump
C-Opacity
D-Reflection
E-Refraction
F-Displacement
G-VRMat file

thank you very much

The issue is that each material creator use their own flavor of names, there isn’t a single truth/standard.
You can find some guidance here: https://help.transmutr.com/manual/materials-tab/map-name-variants

I have never seen “MaskMap” before, and it’s hard to tell without seeing it. But if it’s purely black and white (no greyscale), I would guess it’s the “opacity” map.

I don’t know what “Diff” stands for either, since there is already a “DiffuseMap”.

As for Normals and Bump, you need to choose one of them, and change the “Bump / Normal” switch accordingly.

If you can send the map files to [email protected], I may be able to help you further by seeing the maps.

thanx a lot!
