In the Studio version, yes.
For now, you have to provide an image, and Transmutr creates a billboard with this image. But in the future we want to generate the image directly by making a rough render (probably OpenGL if we can get it to work)

Why not a print screen of transmutr viewport with alpha background? It would be more than enough.
