I’ve transmuted multiple times but I can’t seem to generate a useable SketchUp file or Enscape proxy and it’s driving me nuts. Hoping I can get a hand with figuring this out. I’ve tried to get it exported with both 1.04 and 1.06.
I can reproduce the issue, thanks for the file.
There is an error in the SketchUp SDK itself, it returns “SU_ERROR_SERIALIZATION if the serialization operation itself fails”
There is no more information, so I don’t know what the issue is exactly. I’ll ask Trimble what this can mean.
Keep in mind that the SKP file format tends to produce very large files compared to other formats like FBX.
So a 274MB .fbx file is bound to produce a huge .skp file, probably in the realm of several GB. Maybe that’s the issue, the SDK might not be able to create such large files.
Seems to be that’s the case, however Ive had bigger models export in the past. I managed to export one directly from Max-FBX-Transmutr But it took some time and was about 450mb.
That said, I wonder if there might be a way to select geometry to export from Transmutr? Since periodically I get groups of plants that have to be split up.
