Cut Grass Thea Model is empty

Hi, Just switched to Skatter 2 and love how fast it is. I downloaded the Cut Grass model but nothing renders (yes, i hit the generate button). When i search for the file “skatter2_grass_cut_large.mod.thea” and open it in Thea Studio, it’s empty, there’s no model in it.

Hi @Buzzardgut

The free plant models bundled with Skatter should work ok with Thea. I did a quick test and it seems to render on my end.

Have you done something differently than:

  • Open 3D Bazaar, find the grass model and click “Import”
  • This creates a new composition in SketchUp, pick a surface host and click “Generate”
  • Start a Thea render
