I recently bought “D.I.Y Hedges” from SketchUcation but I’m confused about “hiding” the host. On the instruction, it states “Remember to hide the Host on a separate layer before rendering”. I placed the hedge models in layer 1 and placed the host in layer 2. I tried hiding the layer 2 but nothing showed up. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone show me their sketchup + skatter setup?
Wouldn’t your hedge group be nested in your host group ?
I assume your host item is a component, and all its contents is also in Layer 2? If not change the contents of your host component to Layer 1 or another which you can activate (ticked on) during rendering.
