Does it also happen when you launch Transmutr as a standalone application from the Start menu?

Yes, I can’t even export from other programs to Transmuter,
The same error happens.

It could be due to a lingering Transmutr instance that was not closed properly by Windows.
Does it still happen after restarting your computer?

Yesterday, it was fixed for a moment, it was already exporting from Bridge and importing in SketchUp. I closed the program, after an hour the ERROR announcement came back.

Ok, there seems to be an issue with having multiple instances of SketchUp or Transmutr opened simultaneously: Transmutr communicates with SketchUp via the network so when another Transmutr opens and this channel of communication is already busy, it fails.

We added a task to our TODO list to try to find a solution to this in the future.
