hey i just downloaded the program, when i select a group sketchup and skatter freeze. The project is quite detailed but the group im selecting as a host is a simple plain. Im not sure if its my file or the software?
Hey yes it does. I think i figured out my problem. The scale of the project in the file causing the issue. for some reason its in 1000s of meters not mm.
I see. The default “Spacing value” of Skatter is 1 meter. So in your file it was trying to put one million objects per (what you thought was) 1m². That’s a lot of objects to compute!
