SKATTER WINDOW NOT SHOWING

Hello,

Working with skatter for years now, suddenly when making new scatter the window doesn’t pop up tot make the composition.
If is see in the tab window above i can see that I made a new scatter composition.
If i click this, ik doesn’t pop up.

Any idea’s?

Sketchup 2022, tried doing it on 2024 but same problem.

Maybe not connected with each other, but happened a day before my license was automatic renewed.

Do you have multiple monitors? Or was it the case in the past?

Please try this:

• Close SketchUp
• Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 202X\SketchUp
• Open PrivatePreferences.json with a text editor like Notepad
• Remove these sections:

        "WebCommonDialog_skatter_composition": {
            "Height": 696,
            "Left": 279,
            "Top": 356,
            "Width": 253
        },
        "WebCommonDialog_skatter_composition_manager": {
            "Height": 578,
            "Left": 1220,
            "Top": 330,
            "Width": 600
        },
        "WebCommonDialog_skatter_preferences": {
            "Height": 700,
            "Left": 91,
            "Top": 50,
            "Width": 450
        },

(The numbers will be different, but you need to remove the whole sections named “WebCommonDialog_skatter_composition”, “WebCommonDialog_skatter_composition_manager”, and “WebCommonDialog_skatter_preferences”)

• Save the file and close it
• Open SketchUp, the Skatter window position should be reset to the default

Hi,

I only have one screen connected but when I opened preferences there were 2 screens showing…
I put the second non connected screen on synchrone with the first.
Now skatter is showing again!
A bit weird because I never changed anything there.
